    Vertical vs. Horizontal

    • Vertical & Horizontal refers two different manufacturing processes that creates two differences in the appearance of your bamboo floor. Linoleum vs. Vinyl

Linoleum is generally a bit more expensive than vinyl flooring, but it comes in a wide variety of colors. The design of linoleum goes through the full piece, making it last longer. While linoleum is water resistant, it is not waterproof, whereas vinyl is. This makes vinyl a better choice for areas that receive a lot of water, such as the bathroom.

  • Wood

    Laminate

    Engineered Wood

    • Less expensive than solid wood
    • Can use in high moisture rooms
    • Adds a warm and inviting look
    • Limited life span - Some cannot refinished
    • Grain pattern may vary from solid wood

Laminate Vs. Solid Wood Vs. Engineered Wood

With each of these options, cleaning and maintenance is relatively easy. While the cost is slightly more affordable with laminate, it is the only one of the three that is not expected to last a lifetime, having a longevity of generally 20 years. Laminate flooring is also more difficult to repair than hardwood or engineered wood. Our team can help you make your final choice!
